OBJECTIVES AND AIMS

General Objectives:

The broad educational objectives of the Institution of Benito Bedrock Education Centre, which are derived from the overall educational objectives of the Nigerian National Policy of Education, include


- To prepare adolescents for useful living within society,

- To equip adolescents with the requisite academic aptitudes for courses of study in institutions of higher learning.



Specific Aims:

In specific terms, BBEC hopes to:

- provide high quality classroom instruction for all its students;

- develop and promote the Nigerian Culture, Art, and languages within the overall context of the world's cultural heritage;

- Diversify its curriculum to cater for a wide range of talents and interests and thereby open up varied opportunities and career options for its students after their junior secondary and senior secondary education.

- inspire its students with the love of excellence and equip them with the requisite intellectual skills for precision in perception thinking and expression;

- inculcate leadership qualities in all its students, viz: good moral conduct, truthfulness, tenacity, loyalty and honesty;

- Raise a generation of people who can think for themselves, respect the views of others, appreciate the dignity of labour, and find contentment in what they have, and in sum, live as good citizens.
